Our Bats for Building Professionals course is for local authority planners, architects, building surveyors, pest controllers - anyone who is responsible for buildings and their development, renovation or maintenance.
Course Content -
- Bat biology and ecology - a bat year, focus on local species, habitat preferences
- How do we look for bats?
- Bats and signs - identifying Potential Roost Features (PRF), bat use of buildings, etc.
- Where are bats likely to be present and why?
- Case studies - small-scale development and best practice
- Site visit/s - Looking for PRF and signs
